First appointed to a vacant aldermanic position in May of 2003, Mike is a 1970 graduate of Bay View High School, and an MATC apprenticeship program in 1973. Now semi-retired, he is the former business owner of Butcher Block, and a meat-cutter by trade. He has been married for 39 years to his wife Pat, who served on the Oak Creek Library Board, and has two daughters, Erica and Michelle.
What is unique about your District?
The 4th District includes the We Energies Power Plant, Bender Park, and the lakefront, which has unlimited potential for expansion of Oak Creek’s tax base, and most importantly, use of our lakefront for public recreation and leisure activity.
Why did you choose to run for Aldermen?
It’s important for me to participate in my government, not only to advance what I feel are pressing issues, but to represent the needs and concerns of my constituents of the 4th District, and the city as a whole.
