Oak Creek begins a Phased Reopening of City Facilities starting June 2

City Hall, Police Station, Public Works building, and Water and Sewer Utility Headquarters in first phase of reopenings
Post Date:06/01/2020 5:02 PM

Some of Oak Creek’s municipal buildings, including City Hall, the Police Station, the Municipal Services (DPW) building, and Water and Sewer Utility office, will reopen for regular hours on June 2, 2020. With the health of our residents, staff, and visitors in mind, we are offering limited in-person interactions at these facilities with safety protocols in place due to the ongoing pandemic.

We encourage you to conduct as much business as possible online at the City of Oak Creek website, our Citizens’ Request for Action application, and through telephone inquiries.
The City’s website lists many ways that our departments are currently providing service to the public. If you require an in-person visit to a City building, we suggest making appointments with the appropriate department before visiting. You may find that you can get your business completed without having to visit.

Our goal is to provide our usual high level of customer service and to get you back on your way. Across all of our buildings, we are vigilant with sanitation practices. Hand sanitizer is available at all locations, and we ask that all guests use it before conducting business with our staff. Transaction areas will be cleaned frequently, with particular attention to high-touch surfaces. Plexiglass dividers have been placed where guests meet with City staff. We will not be hosting routine business meetings at the Civic Center or any other City facility at this time. All staff will be provided with a face covering, and we encourage those visiting to wear one, as well. If you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are experiencing any symptoms, please do not visit our buildings.
