NOTICE: City Buildings & Services Affected by COVID-19

A phased reopening of Oak Creek's municipal buildings has begun.  City Hall, the Police Station, the Public Works building, and Water & Sewer Utility HQ reopened on June 2. More details here.

As of July 6, the Oak Creek Public Library is open for limited Take Out Service in addition to Curbside Pick Up. More details here.

How Oak Creek is Responding to COVID-19

We are committed to helping protect the well-being of our residents, customers, and employees.  Our departments will continue to provide essential services to our residents, but we are limiting public access to our facilities at this time.

We are monitoring the CDC's real-time updates and Wisconsin Department of Health's guidelines related to COVID-19. The Oak Creek Health Department has also compiled a list of restrictions and other resources for our community on their web page. Milwaukee county has additional resources on their website as well as a dashboard showing the number of cases in Milwaukee County.

City Actions to Minimize Risk of Exposure and Slow the Spread of COVID-19

  • All non-essential City travel has been suspended until further notice.
  • All non-essential City meetings have been postponed until further notice.
  • We are temporarily conducting public meetings via video conference and prohibiting in-person attendance by members of the public to limit public gatherings or 10 or more people. In order to ensure that the public has an opportunity to participate. Persons wishing to participate need to register prior to the start of the meeting. If you wish to simply view the meeting please visit our live stream the day of the meeting on the City of Oak Creek YouTube Page.
  • Parks and playgrounds are open.  We ask you to practice physical distancing, keeping at least 6 feet between you and others. Thank you to the community for cooperation with all closures and physical distancing instructions; you are helping to slow the spread of disease in our community.
