Concerned Parents Program

SPONSORED BY:
THE OAK CREEK POLICE DEPARTMENT

Afraid to leave your house to go on vacation because your children might have a party while you’re gone? Did you know that you are responsible and can be held civilly liable for any underage person that is at your residence consuming alcoholic beverages - even if you are on vacation and unaware of the party?

Police officers are concerned for the safety of all of our residents, and it is often better to confront an underage drinking party before something of a serious nature occurs, such as a car accident.

With the Concerned Parents Program, residents may leave a key with the OCPD and give permission to officers to gain entry to their home in the event that there is a party or other illegal activity on the premises. An underage person at your residence cannot deny police officers entry into your residence once you have given this consent.

To register for this program, stop at the Oak Creek Police Department during business hours and sign a consent form. Make sure to bring an extra key.
