City Celebrations!... Events for 2008...
Outdoor Concert Series
Get ready with your lawn chairs and picnic baskets...the concerts are back!
The free evening summer concerts will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Oak Creek Community Center grounds, 8580 S. Howell Ave., rain or shine.
Wednesday, June 11th, 2008 – Chasin Mason
Wisconsin’s premier country rock band playing all the hits from the 90’s and today
Wednesday, June 25th, 2008 – Wilson Knights
Get your dancing shoes on for an evening of swing.
Wednesday, July 9th, 2008 – Pat McCurdy
The wild and wacky entertainer is back by popular demand
Wednesday, July 23th, 2008 – Vic Ferrari
Back by popular demand… this is a Midwest band with a non stop, high energy performance that ranges from blues to rock to country—you can be assured of a good time for all age groups.
Wednesday, August 13th, 2008 – Battle of the Bands
Let the young adults battle it out for bragging rights. Enjoy an evening of young talented bands play for the young at heart
Wednesday, August 27th, 2008 – A Wall of Sound
Incredible blend of talented musicians with a unique chemistry that will provide a great evening of fun
4th of July

Pig Roast
Sunday September 7th starting at noon brings the annual Pig and Chicken Roast to Oak Creek’s very own Miller Park. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy the afternoon full of:
- Great food
- Live music performed by Piles of Rhythm
- Free raffles and games for the kids
Tickets are $3.00 adults and $1.00 for kids available at Oak Creek City Hall and The Oak Creek Community Center.
Halloween Trick or Treat
Sunday, October 26th Oak Creek’s Historical Society on the corner of E. Forest Hill and 15th Ave is the location for the “Halloween Safe Site”. From 4pm – 6pm bring all the little goblins and ghosts out for Free candy and cider.

Christmas Tree Lighting
Bring the kids and join us in lighting the Christmas Tree on Sunday, December 7th at 5pm.
We would appreciate your input on the events that we have planned for 2007.
If you have
any new events that you would like to see the City sponsor, please let us know.
We also need volunteers to help with the planning and running of these events.
