The City of Oak Creek Accepts Bid to Construct New City Hall / Library / Fire Station

The City of Oak Creek is excited to announce that it has accepted a bid to construct the new City Hall, Library, and Fire Station. The accepted bid was submitted by Corporate Contractors Inc. of Beloit, WI. Accourding to their website, "Corporate Contractors, Inc. (CCI) is a leading general contracting firm focused on a special goal: to make every project we undertake an example of inspired design realized by purposeful construction that reflects a sensibility to our clients’ visions of construction."

Over the course of more than three decades, CCI has completed thousands of construction projects locally and across the nation – from designing industrial sites and building new community assets to preserving cherished landmarks and renovating historic commercial buildings.

The new Library and City Hall will be built at the new Drexel Town Square development, at the southwest corner of West Drexel Avenue and South Howell Avenue.

The new Fire Station No. 1 will be built on East Centennial Drive just east of South Howell Avenue.

New Library and City Hall

This project consists of construction of a new, approximately 98,500 square foot library and city hall with a partial basement for parking under city hall and two stories above grade. The work consists of site work, earthwork, asphalt paving, porous paving, landscaping, concrete, precast concrete, unit masonry, structural steel, steel joists & deck, rough & finish carpentry, architectural woodwork, insulation, single-ply roofing, metal roofing, flashings & sheet metal, hollow metal, wood doors, coiling doors, overhead doors, aluminum entrances, windows, hardware, glass & glazing, curtainwall/sloped glazing, drywall, tile, acoustical tile, resilient work, carpet, painting, visual display boards, toilet partitions, flag pole, lockers, fire extinguishers & cabinets, folding panel partitions, toilet accessories, projection screens, laminated plastic casework, hydraulic elevator, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, geothermal ground source, and electrical work.

New Fire Station No. 1

This project consists of construction of a new, approximately 18,400 square foot fire station with a partial basement and two stories above grade. The work consists of site work, earthwork, asphalt paving, landscaping, concrete, precast concrete, unit masonry, structural steel, steel joists & deck, rough & finish carpentry, architectural woodwork, insulation, single-ply roofing, flashings & sheet metal, hollow metal, wood doors, bi-fold and overhead doors, aluminum entrances, windows, hardware, glass & glazing, curtainwall/sloped glazing, plaster, drywall, tile, acoustical tile, resilient work, carpet, painting, visual display boards, flag pole, turnout gear lockers,  fire extinguishers & cabinets, toilet accessories, kitchen equipment, laminated plastic casework, hydraulic elevator, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and electrical work.
