Stay safe and healthy this flu season

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends everyone who is at least 6 months of age should get a flu vaccine this season. Every flu season is different and people are affected by the flu differently.  Even healthy children and adults can become very sick from the flu.  There are some people who cannot be vaccinated therefore, it is important for those who can get the flu vaccine, to do so and protect those vulnerable populations who could become seriously ill.

Judith Price, Community Public Health Officer, states “the Oak Creek Health Department is now offering flu vaccines for the 2014-2015 flu season.”

The cost of the vaccine will be $30. We will accept cash or check. Medicare Part B and United Healthcare Medicare plans only are accepted as well.  Please present ALL insurance cards.
