Safe Tree Removal Techniques for Homeowners
Oak Creek City Forestry is excited to host a winter homeowner tree removal/safety training workshop!
Date/Time: Saturday, February 10, 2018
Location: Municipal Services Building - 800 W. Puetz Road
10:00 am until approximately 1:00 pm (doors will open at 9:45 am)
(Saturday, February 24, MAKE-UP date; same time, same place)
Removal demonstration site To Be Determined (will be close by)
Please dress for winter weather; ear-buds provided.
Park in front of the main entrance, over-flow parking through the gate, in row along east/right side.
Prepay, checks or cash only. $20 per person.
Fruit, donuts, coffee/tea, water served.

Mike Wendt, award winning, distinguished arborist/instructor with over 30 years of experience in the development of professional arborists. Mike currently teaches arboriculture and landscape horticulture at MATC. I’d describe Mike as: Personable, Interesting, Competent, Talented. You will not walk away disappointed! (Rebecca L)
Workshop will consist of classroom instruction followed by in-field demonstration (no hands-on participation). Course will focus on safe removal techniques, chainsaw use, chainsaw safety, chainsaw maintenance, cutting/felling techniques, and removal assessment (and, when to put your chainsaw down and call a professional arborist).
