2nd Annual Oak Creek Community Cleanup

On May 3rd, 2014, Oak Creek, in partnership with Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful, Inc., participated in the Great American Cleanup. After a long winter, there were significant areas of our city that needed sprucing up.

During the cleanup, over 60 community members participated—including Girl Scouts, Oak Creek High School Students, and employees of PPG. These volunteers were able to gather 50 bags of trash and cleanup over 25 acres of land throughout the city. As a thank you to participants, the City gave away rain barrels donated by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewer District!

Thanks again to all the participants for their hard work and wonderful effort in volunteering their time in beautifying our great community.
