The City of Oak Creek has launched its newly designed website at www.oakcreekwi.org. The website will create a stronger online presence for our community that promotes public engagement from both residents and businesses. It’s enhanced to provide the best viewing options across all platforms, including mobile, improved search and navigation features, and an updated calendar of events and homepage feed.

A new blog feature will highlight local businesses and current events. Residents may actively participate by submitting their own stories and sharing blogs via personal social media. In addition, the city is rolling out the “My Oak Creek” video series. These videos include a look at some of the area’s many unique businesses including Nucor, Black Bear Bottling and Sweet Music. Check out the story of three generations of the Caruso family and their thriving Oak Creek business!

The website is also consistent with our new brand launched earlier this year, with a new city logo, street signage, and our WTMJ radio campaign, targeting business development, both for Drexel Town Square, and the Oakview Business Park, as well as promoting our city as a great place to live and work.  As you drive around the city, you’ll notice we’ve updated our twenty-year-old city signs with new graphics, and some blue paint, updating their look, but also saving significant dollars in the process.

We’ll continue to look for ways to improve communication between all our residents, business owners, and visitors, with relevant social media, a digitally-friendly website, and opportunities for more dialogue going forward including public forums, community events, and in the not-too-distant future, farmers markets and art fairs, in our new downtown at Drexel Town Square.

Happy Holidays,

Mayor Steve
