Residents, Students, Scouts, Families, Friends, and Neighborhood Associations:

Oak Creek, in partnership with Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful, Inc., will be participating in the Great American Cleanup. After a long winter, there are significant areas of our city that need sprucing up. From April 20th to the 27th, we will get outside, spread out across Oak Creek, and help clean up our community.

Don’t have a group? Come by yourself or with a friend to “Cleanup around the city with Mayor Steve” on April 27th, 2013 from 10am to 12pm at Oak Creek City Hall! It’s a great opportunity to meet the Mayor, other members of our community, and to pitch in for a great cause.

On Wednesday, April 10th there is a pre-registration meeting at 6pm at City Hall. If you have a group that would like to participate, please send a group representative with a roster of volunteers to this meeting to register for the event.

Participants are asked to provide their own gloves, and bags will be provided courtesy of Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful, Inc. For the safety of our residents under 18, we’ll need a signed registration form from their parents, and we’re encouraging families to work together to clean up the community.

All trash collected will be picked up courtesy of our Oak Creek City Streets Department!

Thank you for your interest in keeping our city clean! See you out there!
