Item No. 3 – Consider a request to modify pay status of Sanitarian and PHN Supervisor.

Judi Price was in attendance to speak to this issue.  She indicated that upon further discussion with the PHN Supervisor, she would like to remain hourly rather than be reclassified as exempt.  The Committee discussed the merits of modifying the Sanitarian from hourly to exempt.  Understanding the City had just executed a Memorandum of Understanding that allows the sharing of the Sanitarian with the City of Franklin, the Committee felt it was an inopportune time to make this modification.  The Committee suggested that the matter be held for three months and revisited in relation to where we are at that time with Franklin.
