CITY OF OAK CREEK AD HOC COMMITTEE ON
FACILITY SPACE NEEDS

Tuesday, February 6, 2007, 6:30 PM

1. This meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m.
• Present were Committee members:  Fred Siepert, Isabel Haase, Cal Nowak, Mike O’Brien and Frank Carini.
• Staff present:  Information Technology Manager Caesar Geiger and Marie Kreif.
2. F. Carini made a motion to approve the minutes of January 16.  C. Nowak seconded the motion.  All aye; motion carried.
3. Review information obtained on:
1. City Hall and Garage
2. Library
3. Fire Station #1

F. Siepert distributed a draft mission statement.  The Committee members received a paper copy of a draft presentation that was developed by Caesar Geiger based on the group’s research to date.   His summary includes the age and square footage of the current buildings, current structural deficiencies, and past/present/future populations.  He also provided a copy of the summary report from the Police Station’s Future Needs Committee from April 2000.  The committee will review the handouts and e-mail their suggestions for change to Caesar this weekend.  He will then make the modifications and send a revised version to the committee before their February 20th meeting.

4. M. O’Brien, seconded by F. Carini, moved to adjourn this meeting at 7:22 p.m.  All voted aye.

The next meeting will be February 20.
