Civil Service Commission

1. The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. 
2. Present were Jim Potter, John Przybyla, Sharon Wiorek, Paul Kortman, and Marie Kreif. 
3. Review and approve minutes from previous meetings
• S. Wiorek, seconded by P. Kortman, made a motion to approve the minutes of October 1, 2007.  All aye; motion carried.
4. The Commission entered executive session at 5:02 p.m. pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes, Section 19.85(1)(c) to review applications for Equipment Operator.
5. A total of 75 applicants were received.  Of those, 2 were received after the deadline and 46 did not have the minimum requirements as determined by the Commission based on the job description provided with the application packet.  The remaining 27 qualified applicants will be invited to a written test on November 14, which will be overseen by Commissioners Potter and Przybyla.
6. The meeting adjourned at 5:40 p.m.
