Civil Service Commission

Tuesday, July 25, 2006

1. The meeting was called to order at 5:21 p.m. 
2. Present were John Przybyla, Sharon Wiorek, Brad Evans, and Marie Kreif.
3. S. Wiorek made a motion to approve the minutes of May 23.  J. Przybyla seconded the motion.  All aye; motion passed.
4. The Commission reviewed documentation provided by Chief Bauer regarding the promotional process for Dispatch Unit Manager and approved the process as presented.
5. The Committee entered executive session at 5:35 p.m. pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes, Section 19.85(1)(c) to review applications for Zoning Administrator/Planner.
6. The Commission reconvened into open session at 5:53 p.m. and took the following action:
1. Of the 13 applications received, five had the necessary qualifications as outlined in the job description.  B. Evans made a motion to provide the five applications to the Community Development Director for further consideration.  S. Wiorek seconded the motion.  All aye; motion carried.
7. J. Przybyla made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:53 p.m. S. Wiorek seconded the motion.  All aye; motion carried.
