The meeting was called to order at 6:45 p.m. Committee members present were Alderman Toman and Alderman Lampe. Also present were City Administrator Patrick DeGrave and Police Chief Tom Bauer.
Item 2. Alderman Lampe made a motion to go into Executive Session pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes Section 19.85(1)(c) and (e) at 6:45 p.m. to:
a. Discuss end of probation for Dispatch Supervisor
Item 3. Consider a motion to reconvene into Open Session to take action on the Executive Session items
a. Alderman Lampe made a motion to approve the end of the Dispatch Supervisor’s probation. Alderman Toman seconded the motion. All aye. Motion carried.
Alderman Toman indicated that there would be no need for Personnel Committee action at the end of a probationary period in the future unless there is a need to extend the probationary period or if termination is recommended by the Department Manager. The Personnel Committee is to be notified of all probationary periods ending.
Alderman Lampe made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:47 p.m. Alderman Toman seconded. Motion carried.
