CITY OF OAK CREEK AD HOC COMMITTEE ON
FACILITY SPACE NEEDS
TUESDAY, May 16, 2006, 6:30 PM
- This meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m.
- Present were Committee members: Joy Johnson, Fred Siepert, Frank Carini, Mike O’Brien, Cal Nowak and Ed Siira. Isabel Haase arrived at 6:40 p.m.
- Staff present were: Assistant Fire Chief Tom Rosandich; Facilities Manager Dick Kulka; Information Technology Manager Caesar Geiger and Personnel Specialist Marie Kreif. City Librarian Ross Talis joined the group for the Library tour.
- F. Carini made a motion to approve the minutes of April 18. M. O’Brien seconded the motion. All aye; motion carried.
- Chairman Siepert explained that the committee’s goal is to evaluate and consider alternatives to meet the city’s needs in 10-20 years for city hall, the library and fire station #1. A copy of the Pictorial article dated March 30, 2006 regarding the 3 submitted RFPs was distributed as well as the Plan Commission Journal Article from Spring 2006, “Creating the Meeting Hub”.
- The committee toured city hall, the library and fire station 1.
- E. Siira, seconded by F. Carini, moved to adjourn this meeting at 8:15 p.m. All voted aye.
