Request for 3-way stop on
Eight residents from the area
spoke in favor of having a 3-way stop at this intersection. Discussion between the residents and
Commission members took place with regards to the data that was collected. The residents still felt that a study would
still be necessary to assure that the addition of the stop sign would not cause
other safety issues (i.e. speeding outside of study area, disobeying of stop
sign etc…). A majority of the commission
members agreed with the request of a study till July of 2007.
Motion by Mike
Lampe and seconded by Tom Rosandich to perform study till July 2007 and discuss
findings at next meeting after study is completed. Motion passed (6 aye, 1 no).
