2)         Review of Minutes

No action taken.

3)               Old Business

A.               None.

4)               New Business

A.     Discuss Rawson Avenue and Clement Avenue intersection complaint from Edward Mueller.

Discussion ensued on possibilities of more enforcement and signage. Upon Tom Rosandich’s suggestion, Engineering will contact Milwaukee County Public Works and request an intersection be installed on the north side as part of the County’s future road improvements.

B.     Discuss the letter from Stephen Rapozo about the dangerous intersections in Apple Creek Subdivision.

Discussion ensued and agreement reached to do a traffic study and compare the results to previous studies. This may show a pattern of increased traffic, etc. which may direct future action.

C.     Discuss the letter from Sig Tomkalski to reduce the speed limit to 35 MPH on Howell Avenue from Ryan Road to Forest Hill Avenue.

Discussion ensued on merits of Tomkalski letter. Michael Helgeson thought there were good points in it.  Police and Fire thought that with the installation of traffic signals at Centennial, some of the points are addressed.  Agreement reached to have Engineering request WisDOT to study traffic patterns from Puetz Road to Ryan Road.

D.    Request for No Parking Any Time Signs 30 feet either side of the Deerfield Elementary School Entrance and No Parking School Days from 8:-00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. along the North side of Bluestem Drive adjacent to the school.

Motion by Brian Murphy, seconded by Dave Schneider to install No Parking Signs for Deerfield Elementry School on Bluestem Drive.  Motion passed.
