The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance being said by all present.
Mayor Bolender called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. On roll call, the following aldermen were present: Ald. Kopplin, Ald. Foeckler (arrived at 6:00 p.m.), Ald. Lampe, Ald. Toman, and Ald. Grabowski. Ald. Jonas was excused. Also present was Deputy City Clerk Pam Bauer.
1. Mayor Bolender requested each alderperson to list their choices as the top three finalists to provide professional placement services in the search for a City Administrator. A tally was made of the lists submitted by those alderpersons present. Based on the results of the tally, Ald. Grabowski, seconded by Ald. Lampe, moved to select Virchow, Krause & Company, LLP, Milwaukee, WI; Springsted Incorporated, St. Paul, MN; and Public Administration Associates, LLC, Oshkosh, WI as the three finalists to provide professional placement services in the search for a City Administrator. On roll call, the vote was as follows: Ald. Kopplin, aye; Ald. Foeckler, aye; Ald. Lampe, aye; Ald. Toman, aye; and Ald. Grabowski, aye.
A special meeting was scheduled for Thursday, August 4, 2005, at 6:30 p.m. to interview the above finalists.
Ald. Grabowski, seconded by Ald. Toman, moved to adjourn this meeting at 6:10 p.m. On roll call, the vote was as follows: Ald. Kopplin, aye; Ald. Foeckler, aye; Ald. Lampe, aye; Ald. Toman, aye; and Ald. Grabowski, aye.
