Motion made by Bill
Shaper and seconded by Cliff Nelson to approve the minutes of the April 13,
2005 meeting. Motion passed.

Old Business
A.
A petition was delivered to the
Engineering Department to have the stop signs removed on
Discussion ensued
between residents, Committee members and Betty Kopplin, Alderwoman for the 1st
District on the merits of keeping or removing the stop signs at Quincy and
Monroe. Letter from Jeffrey and Dawn
Drzadinski requesting the stop signs stay was read into the record.
Motion made by
Bill Schaper recommending removal of the stop signs at Quincy and Monroe
Avenues. Seconded by George Krudop. Six ayes, one nay, motion passed.

New Business
A.
Request for stop signs on
Letter from
Nchinda Zacharia requesting the City look into placing stop signs on S. Windsor
Drive at the intersections of W. Dover Drive and W. Buckingham Drive, was read
into the record.
Motion made by
Bill Schaper recommending that stop signs not be installed on S. Windsor Drive
at the intersections of S. Dover and S. Buckingham Drives. Seconded by George
Krudop. Motion passed.
B.
Request for stop signs on

Unglaub requesting a four way stop at
Motion made by
George Artka recommending that the current two way stop at Marquette and Lennox
Avenues not be turned into a four way stop intersection. Seconded by Cliff
nelson. Motion passed.
C.
Request for No Parking signs 50
feet North and South of the Pick N’ Save entrance along both sides of the
street.
Letter from Paul
Kajtna requesting No Parking signs at the driveway approach to Pick-n-Save off
of
Motion made by
George Krudop to install No Parking signs 50 feet north and south and both
sides of the S. Mayhew Drive Pick-n-Save drive approach. Seconded by Cliff
Nelson. Motion passed.
D.
Request to WisDOT to add no U-turn
signs at the intersection of
Motion made by Bill
Schaper to request WisDOT to install No U-turn sign at the S. Howell Ave. and
Centennial Drive intersection. Seconded
by George Krudop. Motion passed.
