Tom Rosandich, Bill Schaper, Henry Jackson, were present. David Schneider and Bob Anderson were not
present.
2) Review
of Minutes
The minutes of the June 9, 2004 meeting were approved on a motion by
Cliff Nelson. Seconded by Tom
Rosandich. Motion passed.

Business
A.
Request for stop signs on E. Ryan Road at the
intersection of S. Pennsylvania
Avenue.
Cliff Nelson made a
motion to install stop sign on E.
Ryan Road.
Tom Rosandich seconded. Motion
passed with Bill Schaper opposing.
B.
Request for Dead End sign on the
street sign for E. Oak Creek Drive
at S. 11th Street.
Street has a “no outlet”
sign. Existing “Dead End” sign is
missing and will be replaced. Bill Schaper made a motion to deny the “Dean End”
sign on the street sign. Cliff Nelson
seconded the motion. Motion passed.
C.
Request for lane direction sign on W. Puetz Road at S. 27th Street.
Bill Schaper
made a motion to install lane direction signs on W. Puetz Road at the intersection of S. 27th Street. Subsequent to meeting, WisDOT installed the
signs as part of their intersection improvement project. George Artka
seconded the motion. Motion passed.
D.
Request for “Stop Ahead” sign on E. Groveland Drive
for the intersection with S.
Verdev Drive.
Bill Schaper
made a motion to deny the “stop ahead” sign.
Cliff Nelson seconded the motion.
The Street Division will install double stop signs and Engineering will
do a traffic study to evaluate the effect of the double stop signs. Motion passed.
E.
Request for stop signs on E. Honeysuckle Drive
at the intersection of S. Orchard
View Drive.
Bill
Schaper made a motion to deny the stop signs on Honeysuckle Drive. George Artka
seconded the motion. Request for “no
parking” to be considered at next Traffic and Safety meeting. Motion passed.
F.
Request for “No Parking” signs on both
sides of Centennial Drive
from Oak Leaf Park
to Mayhew Drive
and pavement lane direction markings at the intersection of Centennial Drive and Howell Avenue.
Held until Commission could
review intersection plans.

Adjournment
Bill
Schaper moved to adjourn the Traffic and Safety Commission meeting. Seconded by Cliff Nelson. Motion passed.
