1)       Members in Attendance

 

George Artka, Ann Lampe, Cliff Nelson, Tom Rosandich, Henry Jackson, and Bill Schaper were present.   David Schneider and Bob Anderson were not present.

 

2)       Review of Minutes

 

Motion made and seconded to approve the minutes of the October 13, 2004 meeting.  Motion passed.

 

3)              Old Business

 

A.    None

 

4)       New Business

 

A.    Request for a stop sign on E. Overlook Way at the intersection of S. Wintergreen Drive.

 

          Motion made and seconded to recommend denial of request. Motion passed.

 

B.    Request for a right turn only pavement marking and sign on E. Drexel Avenue at S. Verdev Drive.

 

Motion made and seconded to recommend denial of request. Motion passed with one nay.

 

C.    Request for a right turn only pavement marking and sign on E. Puetz Road at S. Shepard Avenue.

 

Motion made and seconded to recommend approval of request. Motion passed.

 

D.    Request for No Parking Anytime along both sides of W. Pilgrim Parkway from Glen Crossing Drive to S. 13th Street.

 

Motion made and seconded to recommend denial of request. Motion passed. This item has been requested to be reconsidered at the December Traffic and Safety Commission meeting.

 

E.    Request for a stop sign on W. Honadel Boulevard at the intersection of Orchard Way.

 

Motion made and seconded to recommend denial of request.  Motion passed.

 

F.    Request for No Parking signs along E. Honeysuckle Drive and S. Orchard View Lane across the street from Riverton Meadows Park.  The No Parking would be effective from 3 to 8 pm during the months of May through September.

 

Motion made and seconded to recommend “No Parking” signs be installed on the Riverton Meadows Park side of E. Honeysuckle Drive and S. Orchard View Lane, starting at the intersection and proceeding fifty feet east and south. Motion passed with one nay. 

 

G.   Request for No Parking Anytime signs along the north 50 feet of the east side of S. Shire Place and the east 50 feet along the south side of E. Kender Lane.

 

          Motion made and seconded to recommend denial of request.  Motion passed.

 

H.    Request for permission by UPS to utilize S. 6th Street as parking for the Christmas season from November 22 through December 24th.

 

Motion made and seconded to recommend approval of request. Motion passed.
