The meeting was called to order at 5:15 p.m. Commission members present were: John Przybyla, Andrea Drosen and Brad Evans. Also present was Caesar Geiger, Doug Seymour, and Marie Pellett. Sharon Wiorek arrived at 5:25 p.m.
Item 2. Review and approve minutes
Sharon Wiorek made a motion to approve the minutes of January 5, 2004. John Przybyla seconded the motion. All aye; motion carried.
Item 3. Review test scores for GIS Technician
In reviewing the scores, only three candidates had 70% or better between the written and computer exams combined.
John Przybyla made a motion to send the names of the three applicants who passed the exam with 70% or better on to the Information Technology Manager for further review and consideration. Andrea Drosen seconded the motion. All aye; motion carried.
Item 4. Review applications for Planner
Of the 46 applications received, 25 were found to have the qualifications as outlined in the job description for Planner. Doug proposed conducting a written exam, which was scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th. Applicants will be given no more than 2 hours to complete the exam. The Commission tentatively scheduled a meeting on February 18th at 5:15 p.m. to review the exam scores.
