PROCEEDINGS, SPECIAL COMMON COUNCIL MEETING

MONDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2003, 6:00 P.M.

CITY OF OAK CREEK

MILWAUKEE COUNTY

The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance being said by all present.

Mayor Bolender called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.  On roll call, the following aldermen were present:  Ald. Kopplin, Ald. Foeckler, Ald. Lampe, Ald. Toman, Ald. Grabowski, and Ald. Koehler.  Also present were:  City Clerk Beverly Buretta.

            After lengthy discussion on filling the City Administrator position, no formal action was taken.  Council members will review the current ordinance relating to the City Administrator and the City Clerk will survey other communities for job descriptions and salaries, potential sources of interim services, and potential sources for applications.  A second meeting was scheduled for Monday, October 27, 2003, at 6:00 p.m.

            Ald. Kopplin, seconded by Ald. Lampe, moved to adjourn this meeting at 7:50 p.m.  All voted aye; motion carried.
