The meeting was called to order at 6:15 p.m. Committee members present were Alderman Lampe and Alderman Kopplin. Also present was Robert Kufrin, Alderman Toman, RoseAnn Underberg, Jerry Hammernik, Tom Bauer, and Marie Pellett.
Item 2. Review and consider approval of tuition reimbursement requests
Alderman Lampe made a motion to deny the tuition reimbursement request of Manojlo Verzich because it is for a master’s degree course. Alderman Kopplin seconded the motion. All aye; motion carried.
Item 3. Discuss a policy regarding paying for attorney bills for employees
The committee again requested a breakdown of the bill and wanted to know if the union provides legal assistance. This item will was held until more information was available.
Item 4. The Committee went into Executive Session at approximately 6:50 p.m. pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes Section 19.85(1)(c) and (e) for:
- Bargain with Professional Police Officers
Item 5. The committee reconvened into Open Session at approximately 8:00 p.m. to take action on any or all Executive Session items.
- Contract proposals were exchanged. No further action was taken.
The next meeting is Thursday, August 28th at 8:00 a.m.
