Civil Service Commission

Thursday, July 23, 2003

1. The meeting was called to order at 5:05 p.m.
2. Present were Sharon Wiorek, Brad Evans, John Przybyla, Andrea Drosen, and Marie Pellett.  Jim Potter arrived at 5:15 p.m.
3. Brad Evans, seconded by Sharon Wiorek, made a motion to approve the minutes of June 5^th and June 26^th.  All aye; motion carried.
4. Sharon Wiorek, seconded by John Przybyla, made a motion to enter Executive Session at 5:07 p.m.
5. The Commission reconvened into open session at 5:15 p.m.
   1. Of the 4 applicants that completed the Engineering Technician I exam; the applicants with the top 3 scores will be passed on to the Engineering Division for further consideration. 
      
      Jim added that he discussed the issue of the cover page of the exam with Larry Haskin and determined that although the language in the directions is ambiguous, it was not the extent at which he would throw out the exam.
6. Brad Evans, seconded by Sharon Wiorek, made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:18 p.m.  All aye; motion carried.
