Civil Service Commission

Thursday, June 5, 2003

1.   The meeting was called to order at 5:15 p.m.

2.   Present were Jim Potter, Sharon Wiorek, Brad Evans, John Przybyla, Andrea Drosen, and Marie Pellett.  The Commission welcomed Andrea as a new member.

3.   Brad Evans, seconded by Sharon Wiorek, made a motion to approve the minutes of April 1, 2003, April 10, 2002 and April 15, 2002.  All aye; motion carried.

4.   Sharon Wiorek, seconded by John Przybyla, made a motion to enter Executive Session at 5:25 p.m.

5.   The Commission reconvened into open session at 5:45 p.m.

a.   Of the 26 applications submitted for Engineering Technician I; 17 were deemed not qualified for the position as based on the job description.  An exam date remains to be scheduled for the 9 qualified applicants.

6.   Brad Evans, seconded by Sharon Wiorek, made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:55 p.m.  All aye; motion carried.
