TRAFFIC AND SAFETY COMMISSION
Oak Creek City Hall
1) Members in Attendance
Bob Anderson, George Artka, Jim Cech, Alderman Lampe, Cliff Nelson, Tom Rosandich, and Mike Sullivan were present. Bill Schaper was not present.
2) Review of Minutes
The minutes of the January 8, 2003 meeting were approved on a motion by Jim Cech, seconded by Cliff Nelson. Motion passed.
3) Old Business
4) New Business
A. Request for stop signs in front of the Library.
George Artka moved to recommend that stop signs be installed in front of the Library, seconded by Bob Anderson. Motion passed with Tom Rosandich is opposition.
B. Request for a street light at the intersection of 27th Street and Honadel Boulevard.
Tom Rosandich moved to recommend a streetlight be installed at the corner of Honadel Boulevard and 27th Street, seconded by Alderman Lampe. Motion passed.
C. Request to have the State install “No U Turn” signs on 27th Street at Honadel Boulevard.
Tom Rosandich moved to request the Engineering Division discuss with the State their requirements for installing “U-Turns” on 27th Street and report back to the Traffic and Safety Commission, seconded by Cliff Nelson. Motion passed.
D. Request to have the State install noise barriers along I-94 to Puetz Road.
Alderman Lampe moved to request the Engineering Division discuss with the State the requirements and funding sources relative to noise barrier installation, seconded by Jim Cech. Motion passed.
5) Adjournment
Alderman Lampe moved to adjourn the Traffic and Safety Commission meeting, seconded by Bob Anderson. Motion passed.
