PROCEEDINGS, SPECIAL COMMON COUNCIL MEETING

WEDNESDAY, JULY 24, 2002, 5:30 P.M.

CITY OF OAK CREEK

MILWAUKEE COUNTY

This meeting, chaired by Common Council President Kopplin in Mayor Richards’ absence, was called to order at 5:35 p.m. On roll call, the following aldermen were present: Ald. Kopplin, Ald. Foeckler, Ald. Lampe, Ald. Bolender, Ald. Prochnow, and Ald. Koehler. Also present was: City Administrator Robert Kufrin.

1. The Mayor’s veto of Ordinance No. 2204, an ordinance confirming adoption of the settlement agreement between the City of Oak Creek and the Local 133 AFSCME , fixing the salary for members of the bargaining unit from July 1, 2002 through December 31, 2003, was informational.

2. Ald. Lampe, seconded by Ald. Kopplin, moved to override the Mayor’s veto of Ordinance No. 2204, confirming adoption of the settlement agreement between the City of Oak Creek and the Local 133 AFSCME, fixing the salary for members of the bargaining unit from July 1, 2002 through December 31, 2003. On roll call, the vote was as follows: Ald. Kopplin, aye; Ald. Foeckler, aye; Ald. Lampe, aye; Ald. Bolender, aye; Ald. Prochnow, aye; and Ald. Koehler, aye.

Ald. Foeckler, seconded by Ald. Lampe, moved to adjourn this meeting at 5:45 p.m. All voted aye; motion carried.
