Recommendation:  That the Common Council receive a presentation from the City Administrator and Mr. Paul Thompson, Financial Advisor, regarding a potential spending plan for replacing the city hall, library, fire station No. 1 and fire station # 2.

                

Background:  The administrator will partner with Mr. Paul Thompson, Senior Vice President at Hutchinson, Shockey, Early & Co. to present information about anticipated revenue from Public Utility Aid and how a portion of those funds could be dedicated to debt service to pay for the construction of a new civic center (to include city hall and library) as well as a new fire station # 1 and fire station # 2.
