Recommendation: That the Common
Council approve Resolution No. 10871-052008, accepting the
workmanship and authorizing final payment to William Sackerson Construction
Co., Inc., for Project No. 06030. This project involved an addition and
renovation at the Henry
Miller Park
pavilion (3rd Aldermanic District).
Background: In March of 2007, the Community Block Grant
Agreement was executed between the City of Oak Creek and the Milwaukee County Department
of Administration Services which approved the use of CDGB funds for the
pavilion addition and renovation project.
On
July 17, 2007 the
Common Council approved the bid
proposal from William Sackerson Construction to perform the Henry Miller
Park pavilion addition
and renovations for $179,200. A 5% construction contingency was also approved
bringing appropriated funding to $188,160.00. $186,499.45 was needed for this
contract.
Fiscal Impact: The final payment of $9,325.00 will be paid
with CDBG funds and approved 2006 Control Account funds appropriated for this
project.
