Recommendation: That the Mayor and Common Council accept the report of the City of Oak Creek Ad-Hoc Joint Library Exploratory Committee and give direction as to whether the committee disbands or continues its work.

Background: In fall 2007 the Joint Library Exploratory Committee was appointed to meet with the Milwaukee Area Technical College Joint Library Venture Committee. Its charge was to investigate the feasibility of forming a combined City of Oak Creek and Milwaukee Area Technical College Library and report to the Mayor and Common Council. After ten meetings the committee’s report is ready and attached.
