COUNCIL PROCLAMATION NO. 08-02

 

TO CYNTHIA M. LOPEZ

 

FOR DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE CITY OF OAK CREEK

AS A MEMBER OF THE POLICE & FIRE COMMISSION

 

 

WHEREAS, Cynthia M. Lopez was appointed to the Police & Fire Commission in May, 2003, having served as both President and Secretary during her nearly five-year tenure; and

 

WHEREAS, Cynthia M. Lopez has regretfully resigned from the Police & Fire Commission due to family and career commitments; and

 

WHEREAS, Cynthia M. Lopez has served the City of Oak Creek in a thorough and conscientious manner.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Oak Creek do hereby show their appreciation and gratitude to Cynthia M. Lopez for her dedicated service to the City of Oak Creek as a member of the Police & Fire Commission.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this proclamation be spread upon the minutes of this meeting and that the City Clerk be and she is hereby directed to transmit a suitable copy thereof to Cynthia M. Lopez.
