Recommendation:  That the Council authorize a progress payment of $15,340.00 to Giese Tree and Landscaping Services, LLC, for street tree pruning (Project No. 07014).

 

Background:  Project No. 07014 includes contract tree pruning services as part of the Urban Forestry CIP Project for 2007.

 

Street Trees Pruned:  S. Lenox  Avenue between E. Marquette Ave. and E. Manitowoc Ave.; E. Golden Lane;  S. Pine Ave. between E. Marshall Ave. and E. Manitowoc Ave.; E. Minnesota Ave. (900 block) turning  into S. Logan Ave.  

 

Progress Contract Payment:          $15,340.00

Full Contract Amount:                         $30,680.00

 

Fiscal Impact:  Funding for this project was approved in the 2007 Urban Forestry CIP Project budget.
