Recommendation:  That the Common Council consider a motion to award the Street Department Facility Renovation and Addition reconstruction contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, VJS Construction Services (Project No. 06027) (2nd Ald. District)

 

Background:  The cost of the project was estimated between $4 million and $10 million depending on the option awarded for the proposed improvements.  Angus-Young Associates prepared the plans and specifications for the project and the work was advertised.  The following bids were received.
