RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2008 BUDGET

 

 

WHEREAS, the 2008 Budget was adopted by the Common Council on November 19, 2007; and

 

WHEREAS, although there is approximately $1,360,000 of CIP funds available in the 2008 Budget for Project No. 06027, Street Department Facility Renovation and Addition Project, the 2008 Budget did not include the entire CIP funding and expense amounts for the project; and

 

WHEREAS, the City of Oak Creek went out to bid for this project and publicly opened bids for Project No. 06027 on March 13, 2008; and

 

WHEREAS, the City of Oak Creek Common Council has chosen to make the desired improvements to the Street Department Facility at 800 W. Puetz Rd.; and

 

WHEREAS, the additional construction and related project costs for Project No. 06027 will be approximately $8,000,000; and

 

WHEREAS, it is appropriate to amend the City’s 2008 Budget to include funding and expenditures for this project within the CIP budget.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Oak Creek hereby authorizes the following amendment to the adopted 2008 Budget:

                                                                                    Change to:                      $8,000,000

EXPENDITURES

            Capital Outlay

                        955.00             Projects 2008              Adopted 2008 amount:   $  4,035,825

                                                                                    Change to:                       $12,035,825

           

 

 

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish an official notice of the amended 2008 Budget line items as a Class 1 Notice.
