AN ORDINANCE TO CREATERENUMBER SECTION 2.24(GF) OF THE

MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO GENERAL POWERS

OF THE COMMON COUNCIL – VACANCIES

The Common Council of the City of Oak Creek does hereby ordain as follows:

SECTION 1:  Section 2.24(gf) of the Municipal Code, General Powers of the Common Council – Vacancies, is hereby created to readrenumbered as follows:

Section 2.24 General Powers of the Common Council

                        (g) Vacancies.  Pursuant to Section 62.095(5), Wis. Stats., if any officer is incapacitated or absent for any cause, the Common Council may appoint some person to discharge the duties until he returns or such disability has ended.

SECTION 2:  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3:  This ordinance shall take force and be in effect from and after its passage and publication.
