Recommendation:  No action required. This is an informational item.

Background:  In August of 2004 the joint 27th Street steering committee was formed as a liaison between the cities of Oak Creek and Franklin to guide planning efforts along the 27th Street corridor.

Alderman Foeckler has been serving as one of the two members on the steering committee for the Oak Creek side.  (The other member is Marie Myszkowski, CDA Chairperson)  On January 18th, Alderman Foeckler resigned from the steering committee.

The Mayor has appointed 6th District Alderman Tom Michalski, whose district includes 27th Street south of Puetz Road to fill the vacancy.
