AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL AND RECREATE SECTION 3.40 (c) (18) (h) & (18) (j),

AND SECTION 3.40 (c) (39) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE

RELATING TO FEES FOR INFORMATION REQUESTS

AND VOTER & COMPUTER RECORDS

The Common Council of the City of Oak Creek, Wisconsin do hereby ordain as follows:

Section 1:    Section 3.40 (c) (18) (h)  of the Oak Creek Municipal Code is hereby repealed and recreated to read as follows:

            SECTION 3.40 (c) (18) INFORMATION REQUESTS

      h.         Tax Roll and Assessment Roll.

                              Electronic media:  Charge actual costs, $100.00 minimum.

Section 2:    Section 3.40 (c) (18) (j)  of the Oak Creek Municipal Code is hereby repealed and recreated to read as follows:

            SECTION 3.40 (c) (18) INFORMATION REQUESTS

      j.          Computer records

                              1) Miscellaneous computer printouts generated: Charge actual                             costs.

                              2) Electronic files:  Charge actual costs

Section 3:    Section 3.40 (c) (39)  of the Oak Creek Municipal Code is hereby repealed and recreated to read as follows:

            SECTION 3.40 (c) (39) VOTER RECORDS

            a.         Statewide Voter Registration System (SVRS) records

                                    Electronic Data file:  $25.00 plus $5.00 per 1000 voter names,                                     rounded to the nearest thousand.

            b.         City voter records

                                    Computer printouts:  The actual cost to produce or copy each                          computer printout shall be charged, plus the actual cost of                                              postage and supplies.

Section 4         All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 5:         This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
