RESOLUTION selectING HNTB to restructure and amend the Zoning code to implement the recommendations of the 27th Street corridor plan and streetscape manual and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a contract not to exceed $33,063 for such purpose

WHEREAS, On February 1, 2005 the Common Council adopted Resolution No. 10458, adopting the South 27th Street Corridor Plan; and
WHEREAS, the South 27th Street Corridor Streetscape Manual has been prepared, and is pending approval before the Common Council; and
WHEREAS, both plans contain recommendations for changes to the City of Oak Creek Zoning Code to implement the provisions of the Corridor and Streetscape plans; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Authority has reviewed the proposed scope of services from HNTB to restructure and amend the zoning code to implement the recommendations of the 27th Street Corridor and Streetscape Plans, and has recommended that Council accept those services for a cost not to exceed $34,769.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council that they concur with the recommendation of the Community Development Authority and select HNTB to provide professional planning services for revisions to the Zoning Code pertaining to South 27th Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a contract not to exceed $33,063 for such purpose.
