AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTIONS 17.0315 (B-4, HIGHWAY BUSINESS DISTRICT) 17.0330 (RRO, S. 27^TH STREET REGIONAL RETAIL OVERLAY DISTRICT), AND 17.0331 (UVO, S. 27^TH STREET MIXED USE/URBAN VILLAGE OVERLAY DISTRICT) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE HOTELS AND MOTELS FROM A PERMITTED TO CONDITIONAL USE IN THESE DISTRICTS

The Common Council of the City of Oak Creek does hereby ordain as follows:

SECTION 1: Section 17.0315(a) of the Municipal Code is hereby amended to delete hotels and motels as a permitted use in the B-4, Highway Business zoning district.

SECTION 2:    Section 17.0315(c) of the Municipal Code is hereby amended to add hotels and motels as a conditional use in the B-4, Highway Business zoning district.

(7)        Hotels and motels

SECTION 3: Section 17.0330(a) of the Municipal Code is hereby amended to delete hotels and motels as a permitted use in the RRO – Regional Retail Overlay zoning district.

(37)      Hotels and motels

SECTION 4: Section 17.0330(c) of the Municipal Code is hereby amended to add hotels and motels as a conditional use in the RRO – Regional Retail Overlay zoning district.

(6)        Hotels and motels

SECTION 5: Section 17.0331(a) of the Municipal Code is hereby amended to delete hotels and motels as a permitted use in the UVO – Mixed-Use/Office/Urban Village Overlay zoning district.

(35)      Hotels and motels

SECTION 6: Section 17.0331(c) of the Municipal Code is hereby amended to add hotels and motels as a conditional use in the VO – Mixed-Use/Office/Urban Village Overlay zoning district.

(6)        Hotels and motels

SECTION 7: All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

SECTION 8:    This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
