Common Council Report
Meeting Date: September 4, 2007
Item No.:
Recommendation: That the Council move to authorize the Engineering Department to proceed to Phase 2 of Project No. 06010, W. Drexel Avenue design (1st & 2nd Aldermanic Districts).
Background: The City entered into contract with R.A. Smith & Associates to provide engineering services for the reconstruction of W. Drexel Avenue (two phases). The proposed horizontal and vertical alignment and the typical section have been presented and accepted by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) and the Army Corp of Engineers (ACOE).
Fiscal Impact: The City of Oak Creek is already under contract with R.A. Smith for this work and funds were budgeted in the CIP for the entire design effort.
