Recommendation:  To concur with the recommendation of the Traffic and Safety Commission and approve the request to install speed limit signs and reverse curve sign in Carrollville Crossing subdivision.

Background:  The request was discussed at the Traffic and Safety Commission meeting on July 11, 2007.   The original request was to install stop signs at the intersections to control speeding.  This was denied by the Traffic and Safety Commission.  It was compromised to install speed limit signs at the entrance to the subdivision and install a reverse curve sign with an advisory speed limit along S. 6^th Avenue between E. Cooper Court and E. Puetz Road.

Fiscal Impact: There are sufficient funds available in the Street Department operating budget to accommodate this installation.
