NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Common Council of the City of Oak Creek will on June 5, 2007 at 7:00 p.m., in the Common Council Chambers of the City Hall located at 8640 South Howell Avenue, Oak Creek, Wisconsin, consider the resolution herein described and will act upon said resolution on June 5, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Said resolution was introduced by the Common Council of the City of Oak Creek on April 17, 2007, and proposes the discontinuing and vacation of a public street to-wit: West Lois Lane in the City of Oak Creek, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, the legal description thereof being as follows:
Commencing at the NW corner of the SE 1/4 of Section 30, Town 5 North, Range 22 East, City of Oak Creek, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin; thence
S00°07'31"E, 498.05 feet to the point of beginning of the lands to be described; thence S00°10'33"W, 417.07 feet; thence N89°37'21"E, 45 feet; thence N00°03'39"W, 180 feet; thence N89°37'21"E, 1132.01 feet; thence N00°22'39"W, 237.74 feet; thence S89°35'21"W, 60 feet; thence S00°22'39"E, 177.71 feet; thence S89°37'21"W, 1071.68 feet; thence N00°03'39"W, 177.09 feet; thence S89°35'21"W, 43.28 feet to the point of beginning.
Provided, that pursuant to Section 66.1005, Wisconsin Statutes, such vacation shall not terminate the easements acquired and the rights of the public in any of the underground structures, improvements or services as enumerated or otherwise existing in said public way and in said description of lands hereinbefore described, but such easements and rights and all rights of entrance, maintenance, construction and repair with reference thereto shall continue as if such public way had not been vacated.
A map of that part of the road to be vacated is attached hereto and incorporated herein.
