Recommendation:  That the Common Council concur with the recommendation of the Street Superintendent and approve the usage of money from the 2003 CIP/CEP account project # 03024 to purchase  one (1) Freon Recovery AC Unit

Background:  The Street Department is currently receiving numerous requests for work on vehicles with air conditioning. When this work is done we need to recover the Freon which can also be reused. We currently don’t have the means for doing this service and therefore we have to send this work out to an outside service center. We would like to purchase a Freon Recovery AC Unit in the amount of $3599.00.     

Fiscal Impact: Remaining Funds are available in Project # 03024 to cover the $3,599.00 cost.
