Recommendation: That the Common Council consider a motion to award the Northbranch Industrial Park Road Reconstruction contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Capitol Pavers (Project No. 05036) (1st Aldermanic District).
Background: The Common Council adopted Resolution No. 10740-030607, approving the special assessment of the project on March 6, 2007. The construction cost of the project was estimated at $1.36 million for the proposed special assessment. The Engineering Department prepared the plans and specifications for the project and the work was advertised. The following bids were received:

Fiscal Impact: The City of Oak Creek will initially fund the entire cost of the project, and shall be reimbursed as special assessments are received. The City of Oak Creek had previously budgeted $1.15 million for this and an additional $2 million in the 2007 CIP budget.
