BY:  COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE

 

RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO

ANN M. LAMPE AS 3RD DISTRICT ALDERPERSON

 

WHEREAS, Ann M. Lampe was elected to the position of 3rd District Alderperson on April 3, 2001; and

 

WHEREAS, Ann M. Lampe was re-elected on April 1, 2003 and again on April 5, 2005; and

 

WHEREAS, Ann M. Lampe’s third aldermanic term expires on April 16, 2007; and

 

WHEREAS, Ann M. Lampe chose to not pursue a fourth term as 3rd District Alderperson in order to devote more time to her family and career; and

 

WHEREAS, Ann M. Lampe, during her six-year tenure, served on the Personnel Committee since 2001 and as Chair since 2002, also served on the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission, Traffic & Safety Commission, Community Development Authority (CDA), Finance Committee, and was the Emergency Management Advisory Committee Representative; and

 

WHEREAS, Ann M. Lampe has served the best interests of the City and the residents of the 3rd District; and

 

WHEREAS, the City of Oak Creek has benefited from her contributions to City Government as an Alderperson.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Oak Creek, for and on behalf of the citizens of the City of Oak Creek, their sincere appreciation be and the same is hereby extended to Ann M. Lampe for her service to the City.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting and that the City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit a suitable copy thereof to Ann M. Lampe.
