Recommendation:  That the Common Council consider a motion to award the Riverton Meadows Park Tennis Court project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Payne & Dolan, Inc., at an estimated cost of $41,660.00 (Project No. 07003, 3^rd Aldermanic District).

Background:  The proposed tennis court is part of the master plan for the Riverton Meadows Neighborhood Park site.  This project was approved during the 2007 budget process.  The Engineering Department prepared the plans and specifications for the project and the work was advertised for bids.  The following five bids were received:

*Dakota Intertek did not acknowledge Addendum No. 1

This is a unit price contract.  Thus, the bids were evaluated based on estimated quantities.

Fiscal Impact:  Forest Hill Neighborhood park escrow funds and impact fees together with 2007 C.I.P. funds provide sufficient funding for this project.
