Recommendation:  That the Common Council adopt Resolution No. 10728-020607, vacating and discontinuing a part of a public street in the City of Oak Creek (Edison Rd.) (4^th District).

Background:  This resolution was introduced at the 2/6/07 Council meeting and held to 3/20/07 for a public hearing, as required under Wisconsin State Statutes.  Attached is the council report and background information from the 2/6/07 meeting relating to this matter.

Fiscal Impact:  This vacation will return the 15,000+ square foot right-of-way to private ownership.  The vacation of this small stretch will also relieve the City of maintenance responsibility for the road.
